Guy Andrews (2 North, 1979) has added another major ITV drama to his screenwriting credits with the recent three-part series Bouquet of Barbed Wire, a remake of a series which caused a national debate back in 1976.
The Mirror noted “screenwriter Guy Andrews has sensibly reined in the fruitier dialogue” while the Independent said “Andrews has written excellent, and admirably sparse dialogue” and the Daily Telegraph said “Andrews’s script very subtly emphasised how all these people weren’t just randy – they were also steeped in their own solipsistic juices”.
His previous credits include who has written for television programmes including Lost in Austen, Absolute Power, Agatha Christie’s Poirot, Prime Suspect and Chancer.
