Stuart Wareman (2 North, 1994) writes: Is it really that long since the milk float went missing, garden furniture was beautifully rearranged, and the class of ’94 bade a fond farewell to Cranleigh? Well yes it is and now we’re all grown up and far too sensible we’d love you to join us and celebrate this amazing milestone on Saturday 27 September 2014 at the School itself. After all, this was the special year group that gave the School an all-conquering 1st XV, a record number of Oxbridge entrants and an Under 15 ‘B’ cricket team that went a whole season unbeaten on grass. It even helped bring out the ‘Tom Cruise’ in Zane Sennett, so there’s plenty for us to look back and be proud of.
Tickets cost £75 per person and include a sumptuous three course dinner (trust us, the food has come on a long way in twenty years!), all drinks throughout the evening and entertainment. There will also be a raffle and auction to help raise money for Friends of Tim, the trust set up to support our friend and classmate Tim Evans who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis.
We hope you can join the dozens of classmates who’ve already said they’d come and together we’ll make this a really special reunion to celebrate a really special year group.
Dress code will be black tie and to reserve your places, please e-mail friendsoftimevans@yahoo.co.uk for a booking form.
