Bryony Creed (West, 1999-2004) started at Cranleigh in 1999 as one of the first girls in the Fourth Form. After completing a Business and Management degree she worked in events in Surrey, London and Europe.
A term prior to her wedding (which took place at Cranleigh School), wanting to run her own business to achieve a better work/family balance, she approached her mother about taking over the running of her nursery school in Cranleigh pending her retirement.
After re training in Early Years and completing other courses including Speech and Language, Special Educational Needs and Forest School, Bryony is over four years in and proud that the School has been awarded Outstanding from OFSTED. They have recently launched a Forest School programme.
Bryony’s husband is a housemaster at Hurstpierpoint College and they have a two year old daughter. Running a
busy nursery with some seventy children on roll, not all attending every day, as well as being a Mum, is a demanding and rewarding job. In addition to this she volunteers as a mentor to a child in care under the Independent Visitor scheme, something she finds challenging but hugely worthwhile.
